Capsuled in the love of a protective father, Orafiri is finally able to view life through her own lenses. Upon sighting “Lagos State” on her National Youth Service posting letter, destiny could not have planned it any better for this young, naïve woman.
Orafiri’s excitement is met with anxiety as she prepares to go into the National Youth Service camp premises. She wonders whether she really is ready to leave her father’s cocoon. Destiny soon reassures her by connecting her to Eniola, a young extravagant woman, from the wealthy side of life. Orafiri is intrigued by this new personality; different, yet familiar. A friendship is birthed as Eniola introduces Orafiri to the sights and sounds of aristocracy.

Orafiri realises there is a lot to learn, see and do. She realises how small her world had been in her father’s cocoon. She is surprised to find that a world exists where people live with no inhibitions or rubrics. Most of all, she is surprised to find her sister, who was once capsuled in the same cocoon, living like a citizen of this new world in which she finds herself.

Orafiri cautiously interacts with her new environment and meets Jimi, an intelligent and witty gentleman, in the process. From the moment she lays eyes on him, destiny tells her he is no mistake. Orafiri discovers a new emotion, one that feels stronger than what she feels for her beloved father. She tries to arrest the emotions, but finds herself delighting in them, like a guilty pleasure. She begins to revel in this new emotion, but destiny has a different agenda.
